I've been obsessed with making computers do useful work since I got my first PC in the 90s. That obsession eventually led me to AI—first as a curiosity, then as a tool I couldn't live without.

By day, I lead content strategy at O'Reilly Media, where I oversee all data and AI publishing. I work with some of the smartest people in tech and have a front-row seat to where this industry is heading.

By night (and early morning), I run A Trade or Two, a trading community focused on consistent, mechanical strategies. I built automated trading bots that execute my strategies while I sleep—and yes, my AI assistant helps manage those too.

The AI assistant I built for myself started as an experiment. Now it's indispensable. It reads my email, manages my calendar, drafts responses, monitors my trades, sends me daily briefings, and handles dozens of small tasks that used to eat up my time.
